On Tuesday March 2nd, 2010 Avocet broke ground on it’s new, state of the art 44,000 S.F. hangar facility at the Orlando-Sanford Int’l Airport. Completion is scheduled for January 31st, 2011; Avocet’s 20-year lease (with options for 20 more years) was unanimously approved by the board of directors.

Avocet Aircraft M & E’s 20 year lease agreement for a 44,000 SQFT hangar was approved unanimously by the Orlando-Sanford Int’l Board of Directors. Avocet also has lease options for 20 more years; this will allow Avocet to explore long-term commitments and strategic partnerships.
Avocet provides maintenance support to receive and park a second A300-B4 cargo aircraft at the Sanford facilities for preservation and storage. This marks the 15th aircraft to arrive at Avocet Aircraft M&E since Mid-2009. For more information email: info@avocet.aero
