Avocet Breaks Ground

On Tuesday March 2nd, 2010 Avocet broke ground on it’s new, state of the art 44,000 S.F. hangar facility at the Orlando-Sanford Int’l Airport. Completion is scheduled for January 31st, 2011; Avocet’s 20-year lease (with options for 20 more years) was unanimously approved by the board of directors.

44,000 SQFT Hangar at Sanford

Avocet enters discussions with the Sanford Airport Authority for the building of a new 44,000 SQFT hangar to be leased by Avocet for 20 years. These facilities will allow Avocet to offer its clients more maintenance and transition services.

Avocet relocates to SFB

Avocet relocates from its facilities in Miami-FL to the Orlando-Sanford International Airport in Sanford FL. This move will allow Avocet to expand its capabilities and offer its clients a wider range of services. The new SFB facilities are uniqely tailored to Avocet’s business operations which will consist of expanded aircraft storage space, seperate and dedicated aircraft teardown facilities, as well as a newly built 44,000 sq foot enclosed  hangar to accomodate maintenance acitivites.
